ABOUT ME

Welcome!
I love capturing light and moments.
I truly believe in the power of a photo to inspire, educate, and build awareness. I am a volunteer photographer at Richmond Animal Care and Control (RACC) and believe every animal deserves a respectful portrait revealing his or her special personality. My photos are used for online pet profiles and social media posts. They have appeared in NPR.org articles and in award-winning advertisements. If you are in Richmond, you might see them on a billboard campaign promoting RACC! I am a contributing photographer to the book 101 Pit Bulls, Volume II by Kelly Blanchard.
I recently launched Rescues in Richmond - a limited-edition fundraising book featuring nearly 170 rescue pets living their best lives in Richmond! The book has raised over $6K for RACC Foundation to date!
I am a proud member of HeARTs Speak, a tremendous nonprofit dedicated to using art to raise awareness for homeless pets.
I was honored to have one of my images selected as a "Top 25" in the "Pets and Their People" Category of the 2019 International Pet Photographer of the Year contest!
In addition to photography and work as a lawyer representing healthcare providers, I love the crisp air of fall, Canada (my home country), Richmond (my too-hot adopted home), sunshine, being on or near water, and spending time with my (very patient) husband and our house full of rescue animals.
I'd love to hear from you!
